The debit card is a bank card that gives you access to your money kept at the bank. You can use it to transfer money, shop, or pay invoices, patents or utility bills.

A debit card makes it easy to manage a budget. All the information on spending and income is saved in your profile. At any point in time, you can see how much money you spent during a particular period. SberBank Online mobile app has Financial Analysis section that displays spending across various categories: supermarkets, clothes and healthcare. The app defines all the categories automatically, no action is required from you.

Your card may be issued either as a piece of plastic or as a digital card. A digital card is displayed in the mobile app, but you can’t put it in your wallet. To pay with it online, just enter its details.
Card fees can vary depending on the services a card offers and its level. The fee is paid annually or every month.
How do I apply for a card?
You can apply for a card:
- Online from your phone or computer. This is fast and safe – all you’ll only need is your national passport or another ID and a phone number of a Russian mobile service provider. When your card is ready, you’ll get a text message inviting you to pick it up at a branch;
- In SberBank branch. The employees will help you to apply for a card and consult you on the other bank products and services.
How to put money on your card?
Cash:
- You can deposit cash via a teller at any SberBank branch;
- In a self-service terminal or ATM. Insert your card and enter your PIN → main menu → “Deposit cash” → follow the instructions.
Non-cash:
- In SberBank Online, go to your card’s page and press “Top up”. Or transfer an amount from any of your other accounts or cards.
How to withdraw cash?
- At a cash desk in a SberBank branch
- In an ATM of any bank. To avoid fees and commissions, it's better to use SberBank ATMs.
